How is lung cancer diagnosed?
Lung cancer often does not have symptoms until after it has spread and many symptoms of lung cancer are similar to those of other medical conditions. Lung cancer may be discovered through screening for the disease in those at high risk, by accident when tests are being done for another purpose or because the cancer creates problems after it has spread to other parts of the body. .
