Lung Cancer Alliance participates in several matching gift, workplace giving and charity campaigns, and is the honored recipient of several corporate grants and sponsorships that advance our programs to help lung cancer patients and advocate for more research funding. These opportunities include:
Most companies have an employer/employee matching gift program or something similar, in which the company matches employee contributions to a non-profit organization. Lung Cancer Alliance will recognize your company and you for gifts received directly or through payroll deduction programs. Each company has different guidelines and procedures so it is best to check with the company you work for to determine their requirements and specific process. If you are not sure that your company has a matching gifts program, stop by your company's human resources office for assistance. Workplace giving is a great way to double and sometimes triple your contributions to Lung Cancer Alliance!

If you are a federal employee, please consider giving to Lung Cancer Alliance through the Combined Federal Campaign under the CancerCURE of America Federation, CFC # 12398. The campaign runs from September to December each year. Every dollar goes a long way in allowing us to help others touched by lung cancer.
If you are a city or state employee, you can also support Lung Cancer Alliance as a member of the Independent Charities of America. We are usually included in these state campaigns.: CA, FL, GA, IL, MD, MA, MI, MO, NY, NJ, NC, OH, PA, RI, TX, UT, VA, WI. Please look for us in your workplace giving campaign brochure.
If you work at a private company, you may also check with your payroll administrator to see if Lung Cancer Alliance is on your company's list of approved charities in your workplace contribution campaign. Lung Cancer Alliance will prepare inquiry letters, applications and proposals, as well as provide financial information and additional materials as needed to corporations and foundations wanting to help advance our unique mission. There are also exciting sponsorship opportunities for national education programs, including Team Lung Love, National Shine A Light On Lung Cancer Vigil, Give A Scan and the Annual Capitol Forum that demonstrate good corporate citizenship while building brand equity. With corporate and foundation leadership, employees can connect with a great cause and the satisfaction of knowing that they will be helping families directly affected, while bringing national awareness and advocating for increased lung cancer research funding.
