Nausea (feeling the need to vomit) and vomiting are common treatment side effects and can lead to loss of appetite, weight loss, fatigue, and dehydration. Nausea and vomiting can be caused by chemotherapy and certain types of radiation (such as brain radiation). It may also be the result of the spread of cancer to the brain or to the abdomen.
